Mike’s (a) Place to Be

In July 2001 Gal and Assaf Ganzman opened almost right on the beach, next to the US-embassy, a ‘rocking’ place called: ‘Mike’s Place’ (Herbert Samuel no. 86). The friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere provides a welcome contrast to the trendy and often prentious local nightlive. You will find Israelian young and old, tourists from all over the world drinking their large beers from the many different taps or a good-old Scottish whiskey in their hands, swinging and rocking to one of the live blues/rock or reggea bands.
