Reminder: La Scala in the Park
Thursday, July 16th at 21:00 will be a evening, you will never forget: La Scala, the famous opera from Milan with Verdi‘s famous Requiem, in the HaYarkon Park for….free!! Just bring your own bottles of red wine (and water?!) and enjoy an evening with more then 220 choristers & orchestra musicians with conductor: Daniel Barenboim. Gates open at 19:00.

Arik Einstein tribute

Good old Astor Hotel to be demolished
The cosy, ‘small’ (60 rooms) Astor Hotel (build in the 50s) on the corner of HaYarkon- and Frishman Street will be demolished after long court battles. The four-star six storey seafront Astor hotel has ‘to go’ for a 22 (!!) storey hotel with 161 rooms. Another historic, charming place will be gone :-(
La Scala in Tel Aviv
For the first time in history, one of world’s most famous opera houses, ‘La Scala’ from Milan, is going to perform in Tel Aviv with its cast of hundreds of actors, dancers and musicians.
