Cinematheque Tel Aviv and the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv are screening the whole month of February the work of the most prominent Polish film director: Andrzej Wajda (1927). Four of his movies were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film: ‘The Promised Land’ (1975) , ‘The Maids of Wilko’ (1979) , ‘Man of Iron’ (1981 ) and ‘Katyn’ (2007 ). Joshua Faudem in Cinematheque Tel Aviv

Scriptwriter and film-director Joshua Faudem (‘Blues by the Beach’) will screen his documentary: ‘A Will to Dance’, which he shot in Praque, at Cinematheque Tel Aviv on August 29th. at 18:00. The screening is a part of a Czech film week, sponsored by the Czech Embassy and the Czech Center. At this moment Joshua is developing his first feature film, based on ‘A Will to Dance’.
