Thank You, Elton!
“Shalom, we are so happy to be back here! Ain’t nothing gonna stop us from coming, babe…” !! This were the opening words of a great concert by Sir Elton John, at a packed, roaring (40.000 fans) Ramat-Gan Stadium this Thursday evening. This words came after artists such as The Pixies and Elvis Costello canceled their performances in Tel Aviv, because of political issues. Elton John added: “Musicans spread love and peace, and bring people together..” Elton, thanks…” You are still standing” !! The Three Routes of Tel Aviv
As the Centennial Year draws to an end, one of its most special projects will be introduced in a weekend of walking tours…the so called Three Routes will be officially inaugurated on October 30th and 31st. The Three Routes are special walking trails which tell the story of the city trough three distinguishing colors: White, Blue and Green. The White Route goes through the White City and historic Tel Aviv. The Blue Route runs along the city’s coastline. The Green Route follows the Yarkon River and Ganei-Yehoshua. Each route includes key stations that highlight important sites and prominent inhibitants. The stations are marked by special solar-tiles (!). Larissa Riahi received the 2nd Tel Aviv Fever Heineken bottle
As we wrote on July the 8th, we made 6 Tel Aviv Fever Heineken bottles (3 are in Israel, 3 in Holland). The first one went to Eytan Schwartz, the ‘big guy’ of all the Centennial events. Our second bottle we gave to: Larissa Riahi. She is original from Amiens (France), studied graphic design. In 2000 she came for six month to a kibbutz as a volunteer. Back in France she studied Art. She missed the life in Israel and she decided in 2005 to make ‘aliyah’ (permanent resident), not for political or religious reasons, just because the love for Israel. Tel Aviv would be here ‘new’ town. She loves art (painting and clay works), music and her openness brings her to meet different cultures and people. At this moment … Read entire article »

We did have made a special Tel Aviv Fever Heineken bottle six-pack. The summer is there and Tel Aviv IS summer. Eytan Schwartz was the first person to get one. New York beach party, Tel Aviv style
Yesterday, Yaniv Halily, wrote at Ynet about the great success of the Tel Aviv Beach Party, the day before, in Central Park New York City.
