Gay tourism comes to Tel Aviv

The Tel Aviv-Yafo Tourism Association, together with Israeli Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Association are to host the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) conference for the first time ever between October 10th and 16th. The event will be attended by the world’s 20 leading travel agents in the field. The week-long tour of the country will offer the visitors an indepth look at Tel Aviv as a gay-friendly city, aiming to get the city marketed as a favoured destination for gay vacation consumers.
