		<description><![CDATA[A few weeks ago was the official opening of the beautiful new, expanded building of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The Herta &#38; Paul Amir Building is designed by Preston Scott Cohen, an architect from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
On wednesday, November the 30th. (20:00h) there will be a first event in the new building, mixing social and art, with e.g. a lecture: &#8216;The Intersection between Design &#38; Technology&#8217;.

		<description><![CDATA[On June the 30th 2011 another Laila Lavan, &#8216;White Night&#8217;, will take place all over the city of Tel Aviv in celebration of the declaration by UNESCO (June 2003) that the inner-city of Tel Aviv will be a &#8216;World Heritage&#8217; site.
Like every year (all night) museums will be open (free of charge), there will be yoga lessons at the &#8216;Chandra Yoga Center&#8217;, lots of music (classic, jazz and rock ), free theater, etc&#8230;etc.

		<description><![CDATA[On June the 16th (20.00) the gala premiere of &#8216;The Queen Has No Crown&#8217;, directed by Tomer Heymann and produced by Tomer and Barak Heymann, will take place in Cinematheque Tel Aviv as a part of the TLVfest 2011.
The documentary, that had its world-premiere at the 61st. Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale 2011), is a personal story about his family, his strong mother, his father who divorced after 33 years of marriage and his four brothers (three of them left for the USA).
Tomer combines in his documentary 8 and 16 mm footage with his own work of a decade.
After the screening of the documentary, there will be a special Q&#38;A-session with Noa Heymann, the mother of Tomer  and with: Noga Heymann, Tomer&#8217;s niece, who will arrive all the way from Oregon (USA) to answer questions&#8230;

The exhibition will show you figurative and expressive painting, characterized by large formats, intense colors, narrative, direct personal exposure, provocativeness and seductivenes. There are selected works by some of the prominent Neo-Expressionists active in Berlin of the 1970s and 1980s: Karl Horst Hodicke, Rainer Fetting, Salome, Helmut Middendorf and Peter Chevallier.

		<description><![CDATA[It is in the iTunes App Store for several month now, but Tel Aviv has it own iPhone App, VISITLV. It was published by the The Association for Tourism Tel Aviv-Jaffa in May, more than in time for the summer season. A pity I did find it just a while ago. ;-)
The app starts with one of the most a wonderful splash screens I have seen (I thought of surprising you by not showing it, but not everyone has an iPhone ;-) ) and contains information about the three Walking Routes we talked about before,  cafés, pubs, restaurants, museums, hotels, free guided tours and of course a &#8216;What&#8217;s On&#8217;-calendar, which, to my opinion, could be more extensive and more up-to-date&#8230; ;-)
It is possible to search for the name of a restaurant, café or pub, but a certain type of venues are not in there: concerthalls or clubs like Zappa. A great ...]]></description>
