Famous Red House sold
The famous Red House (the Lodzia factory) in the Nahmani Street was bought by business man Roni Duek and his wife, actress Yael Abecassis, for NIS 25 million ($8 million!). The beautiful red-brick building was build in 1924 by Akiva Weiss, one of the founding-fathers of Tel Aviv.
The Duek couple wanted first to use the building as their private home, but a few days ago, they decided to renovate and preserve the Lodzia building and turn it into luxury apartments.
