Larissa Riahi received the 2nd Tel Aviv Fever Heineken bottle

As we wrote on July the 8th, we made 6 Tel Aviv Fever Heineken bottles (3 are in Israel, 3 in Holland). The first one went to Eytan Schwartz, the ‘big guy’ of all the Centennial events. Our second bottle we gave to: Larissa Riahi. She is original from Amiens (France), studied graphic design. In 2000 she came for six month to a kibbutz as a volunteer. Back in France she studied Art. She missed the life in Israel and she decided in 2005 to make ‘aliyah’ (permanent resident), not for political or religious reasons, just because the love for Israel. BBC Radio 3 to celebrate Tel Aviv centennial

A program dedicated to Tel Aviv’s 100th birthday will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on July 12th at midnight (Israel time) and can be accessed trough BBC iplayer at: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer The program will be hosted by Tel Aviv born music expert and presenter Moshe Arad. Air Berlin starting flights to Tel Aviv tomorrow

Air Berlin, the second biggest airline in Germany is starting flights to Tel Aviv from tomorrow. The flights will be two times a week. Not only German flyers will benefit from this, but also from the Netherlands and Belgium. There will be flights from Düsseldorf Airport, which is in fact the town Weeze, close to Kleve, which again is close to the Dutch border. Do we have shares? Tel Aviv Diary

Tel Aviv is a great place to be, I knew that. But I really had to acclimatize to it again… Not only the heat, but its pace, the way it smells and it’s noices… But it is absolutely great to be home… I started ‘running’ from day one because I wanted to suck it all into me. I am glad that it is shabbat now… Just for its rest… It’s been a few days that we put something on Tel Aviv Fever, just because of this acclimatizing. Frits and I have been talking a lot.
