Rubin and Esther Reuven
At this moment, you will find in the Rubin Reuven House (Bialikstreet no. 14) an exhibition about (‘our’ ;-) ) Vincent van Gogh.
Rubin, born in Romenia in 1893, came to Palestine in 1928. On the boat to the ‘Holy Land’ he met his future wife Esther. They settled in the heart of Tel Aviv: Bialik Street. Rubin died in 1974 and his house became a museum. Esther, today 98 years old (!) is still living in Tel Aviv.
[Due to the Public's popular interest the 'Van Gogh in Tel Aviv' exhibition will be prolonged till April 15th (Passover holiday - with special opening hours - find more information at Rubin Museum]
