Last year, the Israel Post Office, issued a new stamp with a composition about the famous seashells lottery of 1909. The lottery was held on the second day of Passover, April 11th 1909 in the afternoon. The participants (150 man, woman and children) gathered on the sand dunes, 3 kilometers north of Yafo.
